I made another character in the
'from the drawing to the fabric' series 

(yes, it is a series now)

This one is based on my favorite drawing, 
that one I am currently using for my logo and icon. 

A Bit of Yellow

It was my friend Nugit who gave me the idea 

to use a drawing as an inspiration for a doll

Like many things of crafty goodness 
the idea had originally come from a Japanese site, 
and I immediately decided to adopt it.

I have some buttons that my father made from a pine branch last year and, of course, plenty of wool and a beautiful model to show it off. The bag is made out of one of her cardboard drawings

Happy Birthday Tomer

My nephew Tomer, a regular participant in this blog, 

had his first ever birthday last night

We had cake and balloons and music and food, a good time was had by all. After the cake the man himself put on green pajamas and went to bed and we continued without him.
