Life's Little Challenges

A little bear has set itself a mission -
he is going to climb on top of the cushion;
the dolls think it's too dangerous, perhaps he should stop,
but the bear is determined to make it to the top!

Home Thoughts from Abroad

OH, to be in England now that April’s there
And whoever wakes in England sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England-now!

~ Robert Browning

Tomorrow and for the whole week
I'm going to be in one of my favorite places - London!
I'll miss you all

An Ode to Pink

 Yellow is a color strong and bold,
White is calm but a little cold;
Gray is soft and full of style,
but Pink can always make you smile!

to be made into a rather large vanity case
or a small pillow, haven't decided yet

Morning Walk in Isfiya

Isfiya is a Druze village not far from my home
and one of my favorite places to visit.

Located at the very top of Mount Carmel
it has stunning views and on a clear day
(and this was not!) you can see forever.

What I like best about the place is its relaxed and
old-fashioned air, its traditional life-style.

And how nice and welcoming the people are.
As a community, the Druze pride themselves on hospitality
and everyone I've met lives up to this tradition.

These photes were taken with my new camera.
I just love it so much.

Those Unappreciated Dolls

The dolls got together and decided to bake
scones and buns and a chocolate cake;
They worked all afternoon, without taking a brake,
and then the bear said: but I wanted steak!

this bakery is a joint effort with my niece Michal  -
