A Fun Afternoon

Avital got Dana a wonderful Imaginarium box for her birthday

this one was a plasticine mega kit

We finally took it out and got crafting

the quality of their products is amazing
Next time I think we'll try using all the cutters for cookies

they will have to have a good soak before, of course

The Lonely Ball

There once was lonely little ball
sitting on the shelf, feeling sad and small
each day it would wish for a bit of fun
for a friend to pay with, for some games in the sun

it decided to do what balls do best - 

just jump off the shelf and go on a quest
to roll and skip all the way to the sea
and not to come back until it was time for tea

it was about to leave when in came a boy
and the boy brought another ball - what joy!
now they could all run and play and enjoy
because that is what you do when you have a great toy

A Silly Poem

Said Hamlet to Ophelia,

I'll draw a sketch of thee,

Something Special

I've been asked to make a wall hanging for a little girl

and was given free reign to decide what to do

I stared at a blank canvas for two days before I got started

And this is what I came up with 

It is a combination of needlework and applique

in a color palette I hope any little girl would like

They said it made them smile!

Wordless Wednesday

Once is Not Enough... Recycle!

This little gift was made for a proud grandmother

I turned CD covers into picture frames for drawings or photos

and put magnetic tape on the back to make it fridge-friendly

The little drawings were made by my niece Dana

Who is this guy? Is he crying? Is he having a bad hair day?

New Friends

A new pillow in muted colors 

is a good excuse to introduce two new friends

I bought them in the most wonderful shop for vintage toys

my favorite shop in Cannes 

their craftsmanship is beautiful

but unfortunately their behavior isn't all that it should be

and they had to be sent to a quiet time out
